Now is the time to tell you all what I`ve been up to for the past few months, but first a little background. Before I came to Los Angeles I used to work as a designer for Colomba Living, my family brand. Colomba is a brand that has been in existence for over thrirty years. Founded by my mother, Marcela Hernandez, in 1982, Colomba began developing clothing for contemporary women using natural fibers with a simple and natural style. In the mid nineties, Colomba expanded and started a Home line, where linen was, and still is, our most important material. Today our flagship store is based in Santiago, Chile on Alonso de Cordova. 100% Chilean Design.
It`s been more than a year since I live here …time goes by so fast! And I have always dreamt of continuing our legacy and expanding Colomba internationally. Although it is much more competitive and faster here in the states, I know the rewards are also increasingly attractive.

Recently we placed our products at Jaxon Home in Los Angeles ( www.jaxonhome.com),and we will sell them on-line through their website. It is a beautiful store with more than 20.000 sqft, where a variety of other designers and artists show their work. Very cool.
