La Jardin is one of my new favorites places in Santiago. Located in Barrio Italia, La Jardin is like a moving sculpture that comes from an abandoned place reutilizing materials and waste from the city. This concept was created by the british artist Tony Hornecker who started his first local called “The Pale Blue Door” in London. The same idea has been recreated in different places such as Valparaiso, Buenos Aires and Berlin.
I loved the gracious, vintage and interactive aspect of this place. I am hooked by every single detail, tables with grass on, flying bicycles and old stuff that make you feel nostalgic. An harmonious rupture that invites you to interact with the environment. A great “upcycling” experience :- )
