1 real I bought this dress in H&M, it has a very simple silhouette and confortable material. Also I added a few motives with another fabric that I had ( linen), to incorporate something unique. I`ll show the DIY in my next post. A big accessorie like this hat goes well with the outfit. Cool trendy timeless style. (more…)

2013-03-12 11.35.25 Hi everyone! Today I`ll show you how I painted my mint shoes. If you are willing to do this you definitely need an open space for this process. The spray must be  for multifunctional surfaces. These are the next steps. Place cardboard underneath the shoes. Then put paper inside the shoe so the paint does not come inside. Too much spray paint too quickly will cause the paint to run off, so it is necessary to do it layer by layer. Let it dry for at least 3 hours. Done! 1 Starting point, sketch of my idea. Screen printing is a very simple process. The screen, a wooden frame with special fabric (organza or mousseline) stretched and secured over it, is used to hold the stencil in place and control the ink deposit. I printed the image. The crosses on the edges are to indicate the position of the print. I  copied the same image to a mica paper then I had to cut the figure. (more…)

outfit4_001 Spring arrives! I can feel the sun in the beach. We are in Venice Beach, a very popular street in LA. Many artists exhibit their work, musicians singing and performance of all types: dancers, actors, skaters among others. It is a combination between a hippie style and a range of all different characters that can exist. A place with a lot of movement ... a whole experience! (more…)

2013-03-08 17.58.42 Hi everyone! Here is my new creation, linen curtains! When I just moved to my new apartment I found  bad treated curtains, uneven and each with a different structure. I didn't like them at all! The first thing that came up was to buy a fabric and create new ones! I had this feeling that it was completely necessary to buy linen ( very razonable price and good quality) I couldn`t avoid it and I`ll tell you why. My mum (Marcela) started  "Colomba" in 1982. She created a clothing line collection a classic and contemporary style for women. So practically I grew up surrounded by fabrics and ateliers. Colomba, today has a lifestyle proposal, expanding the line of products to clothing and Home collection. Linen is the essential fabric for Colomba, it is a beautiful and resistant fabric. As a consequence I always have been attached to natural fibers. Today Marcela works as a...

anne valerie 1 Anne Valerie Hash is one of my favorite fashion designers. Born and raised in Paris, she graduated from the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. Before Anne launched her brand she worked for Dior, Channel, Lacroix and Ricci. She started out putting a twist on men`s clothing, but now she is increasingly taking a more feminine and gentle approach. Recently she has explored high tech fabrics, including metallic and iridescent made by the swiss manufacture Jakob Schlaepfer. Her drapery is influenced by Ancient Greece. The combination of these techniques make her style very unique. Personally I love her designs, simple, striking silhouette, classy and contemporary. Also the application of material that she uses is amazing, very chic and fashion forward. (more…)
